Houston City Council caves to allow more cooperation with ICE

Texas put its foot down when Houston limited to 30 minutes the time police needed to wait for ICE to arrive to pick up unauthorized travelers once they’d been reported. With a fear of losing budget money as well as money for the World Cup security, the Houston City Council reversed it’s original decision. Read here.
